This year’s conference focuses on cultural competence and care for the many international refugees and immigrants in our region. Topics such as medical interpretation, human trafficking and international nursing differences are covered through a day-long program that expands our awareness and skills for working with children and families from other countries.
This parent/child program will help you determine when your child is prepared to stay home alone and will help prepare them for this experience.
This video-guided program includes instruction and hands on practice in infant, child and adult CPR, first aid for choking and the use of AEDs when appropriate. Course facilitators use the American Heart Association material. Course includes a 65-page student manual.
