Pediatric care is increasingly performed over the telephone. The St. Louis Children’s Hospital After Hours Service invites nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals who provide telephone triage in pediatric and family practice office settings to join us for this day long educational program.
This program is designed to highlight recent changes or current controversies in perinatal and neonatal topics.
Children can bring their own helmets to this event, where a trained professional will check for correct fit and will ensure that it is an approved helmet -- all at no charge!
This video-guided program includes instruction and hands on practice in infant, child and adult CPR, first aid for choking and the use of AEDs when appropriate. Course facilitators use the American Heart Association material. Course includes a 65-page student manual.
This program is for pediatricians, family practice physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses. It is designed to provide the most updated information on pediatric GI reflux and other common complaints.
Parents will learn how to provide healthy meals and snacks for their families with the help of a registered dietitian.
