Our Vision
The Child Life Services department consistently advocates for the optimal growth, development, and emotional well being of infants, children, and adolescents in the health care setting. The services we provide take a holistic and diverse approach to meeting the social and emotional needs of each child, adolescent, and family we serve.
The Child Life Services department works with patients and families to develop ways to cope with fear, anxiety, and separation from friends and family by using play, music, art, recreation, and education techniques.

Pre-Admission Preparation
In preparation for your child's upcoming surgery or hospitalization, walking tours of the hospital can be conducted upon request.
