Objectives:
- Select methods to obtain a thorough assessment of a patient by telephone interview
- Identify key components of good documentation
- Review important telephone and customer service skills
- Discuss ways to reduce the risk of bad outcomes when doing telephone assessments
Intended Audience: Telephone Triage Staff in Office Practice
Accreditation: Nursing contact hours are pending. St. Louis Children’s Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Missouri Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
