Course Overview
This course is designed to highlight advances in pediatric trauma care. It will assist pediatric providers to thoroughly assess injured children, order necessary diagnostic studies and quickly identify children needing specialized trauma resources. It will provide the latest recommendations for providers to manage trauma cases commonly seen in rural settings and to safely administer sedation to minimize pain and anxiety in children undergoing procedures.
