Help Change a Child’s Future
St. Louis Children’s Hospital is a beacon of hope, a place where children and families come for the very best in pediatric health care. Since the hospital’s founding in 1879, city leaders and ordinary individuals have cared for children by providing charitable support, effectively partnering with our doctors, nurses and board members to create one of the finest pediatric hospitals in America.

Philanthropy provides a catalyst for exceptional care and research. It defends the right of children to receive comprehensive and quality care when support from private insurance and government is inadequate. By providing resources for research, it extends the horizon of hope to children and families. By funding services and facilities that otherwise would not be affordable, philanthropy addresses the unique needs of our patients and their families. Philanthropy provides that extra measure of support that allows St. Louis Children’s Hospital to be named time and time again one of the top pediatric hospitals in the entire country. Thus, you can be assured that area children are receiving the very best medical care available.
