The Young Friends of St. Louis Children’s Hospital hosted its Fifth Annual Cocktails and Clowns event Friday, April 16 at Palladium Saint Louis. More than 340 people came out to support the cause. Led by event chair, McKenzie Goldwasser and her committee, the event raised more than $33,000 for The Clown Docs program at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The Clown Docs are five professionally trained clowns who use humor to distract patients from their hospital experience and to relieve stress among patients, family members and staff.
