PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE CLOWN DOCS PROGRAM
Cocktails & Clowns 2012 represents the 7th year for the event. Each year the event continues to grow and provide more support to The Clown Docs program at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. In 2011, more than 350 young professionals in St. Louis attended the event and raised more than $34,000 to benefit St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Proceeds from this event will support The Clown Docs program at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Children’s Hospital strives to use various forms of play in a nurturing and supportive environment to decrease stress and anxiety for children, youth, and families during health care experiences. Therapeutic hospital clowning is the purposeful use of clowning and its associated skills to address the psychosocial needs of hospitalized patients and their families. Laughter elevates heart rate, increases oxygenation of blood, lowers stress hormones, massages muscles and vital organs, and decreases pain. Your support of this event brings hours of laughter to patients and families at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Thank you for supporting St. Louis Children's Hospital. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
