A Great Call! Major League Umpires find young fans at Children's

Major League Baseball Umpires Mike Muchlinski, CB Bucknor and Gerry Davis pulled wagon loads of Build-A-Bears from room to room on the hospital's ninth floor Wednesday.
Each child got to choose from a variety of stuffed animals, as well as several customized outfits - including a St. Louis Cardinals uniform!
The program is called BLUE for Kids and the event is one of twelve national hospital events hosted by umpires this season.
The event is made possible by UMPS CARE Charities. Founded by MLB Umpires, UMPS CARE Charities enrich the lives of at-risk youth and children coping with serious illness by providing memorable sports experiences, supporting pediatric medical care, and raising the awareness of foster care children waiting to be adopted.
