Local phone calls can be made from patient rooms. For long distance calls, parents of inpatients can stop by the second floor Guest Services Information Desk to pick up a complimentary 10-minute pre-paid phone card. One phone card will be issued each day to inpatient families and can be used at any phone in the hospital. Phones are located in all parent lounges throughout the hospital, as well as at each nurses station.
The use of cellular phones and two-way radios are allowed except in certain areas where a "No cell phone" sign is posted.
TDD (Telecommunication Device for the Deaf): We offer a special line for our hearing-impaired or speech-impaired patients and families available in our Family Resource Center.
