Health Promotion and Common Problems

As a child grows from infancy through adolescence, it is important to promote good health throughout some of the common problems of development. From diaper rash in babies, to toilet-training in young children, health promotion topics also include learning disabilities and bedwetting for the school-aged child, and eating disorders and substance abuse for the adolescent.

Listed in the directory below are some tips on promoting good health according to each age group, for which we have provided a brief overview.

If you cannot find the information in which you are interested, please visit the Growth and Development Online Resources page in this Web site for an Internet/World Wide Web address that may contain additional information on that topic.
