Recommendations for Preoperative Care:
1) Patient must wash torso for 3 consecutive days prior to surgery with Hibiclens 4% solution.
2) Patient will take a q-tip to apply Bactroban in circular motion to bilateral nares twice a day for 5 consecutive days prior to surgery. Please use a new q-tip for each nares each time.
Both these medications will be precribed for you by your provider.
