Application Requirements and Procedures

Application requirements:

  • Completion of all doctoral degree requirements from an APA-accredited program by the start of the training year
  • Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical, counseling, or school psychology
  • APA-accredited psychology pre-doctoral internship
      • Applicants will be considered from a non-accredited internship if it meets APPIC standards
  • Previous training/experience in pediatric psychology and/or child psychology

Application procedure: Our application deadline is typically during the first week of January. Please contact the training director for this year’s application deadline. In person interviews typically take place in February. St. Louis Children’s Hospital Postdoctoral Fellowship program is a member of APPIC and will be participating in the postdoctoral Unified Notification Date. Interested applicants should electronically submit a cover letter detailing training and professional interests, CV, three letters of reference (preferably one being written from your current internship director), and two sample clinical reports (i.e., one assessment report, one consultation or diagnostic report) to:
