Pedal the Cause is a city and community-wide fundraising bike challenge on October 7, 2012, for riders of all ages and abilities. 100% of the proceeds stay in St. Louis to fund cancer research through the Children’s Discovery Institute at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the Cancer Frontier Fund, an initiative of Barnes-Jewish Hospital that benefits the Siteman Cancer Center. Ever since Kaitlyn was diagnosed with Mediastinal Lymphoma, she has been determined to go back and compete at the AAU Junior Olympic games. Thanks to the excellent treatment and support she received at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, she is going to accomplish this goal. ... read more.


After undergoing treatment for Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, Brandon is once again playing ice hockey and baseball. He is running around with his brothers Blake and Logan—climbing trees and camping. He’s a typical boy. ... read more.



Braydon responded well to his treatment protocol for Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and went into remission within the first 30 days. He is now in the maintenance phase. Braydon has all of his hair again and he is back to playing T-Ball. He is a very active and typical four-year-old. ... read more.


Four-year-old Krystabelle Wiles is so happy and outgoing—she always seems to “spread a little sunshine” wherever she goes. She has consistently won people over with her sunny, go-with-the-flow personality.  These traits are serving her well as she battles embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. ... read more
