St. Louis Children’s Hospital is proud to present our Fourth Annual Perspectives in Pediatric Nursing Conference on April 15 and 16, 2010, in St. Louis. As a nationally ranked children’s hospital we are continually challenged to discover new knowledge and improve our practice in pediatric health care. As a partner with Washington University School of Medicine, we provide care to over 275,000 children each year, treating children from all over the United States and nearly 60 other countries with serious or rare illnesses. We provide equally advanced care to the children in our own region and offer many innovative community health programs in the St. Louis area for underserved populations.
At St. Louis Children’s Hospital, we are passionate about providing family-centered, evidence-based, clinically excellent care to every patient, every family, every day. We utilize an interdisciplinary model of joint practice and research to advance this goal. This annual Perspectives in Pediatric Nursing Conference gives us an opportunity to share our experience and knowledge with other pediatric nurses and health care professionals from around the country. Past conferences have included close to 200 participants who have enjoyed St. Louis hospitality and learned the latest information about evidence-based care for children.
