Chief Resident Award: Stephanie Grissom, MD

Each month, St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s chief residents honor a resident who shows exceptional dedication to his or her patients, colleagues or profession. In November, the SLCH Chief Resident Award was presented to Stephanie Grissom, MD, second-year pediatrics resident, in recognition of her exemplary dedication to a patient and his family during a time of crisis. After working a 30-hour shift, Dr. Grissom returned to work on a Saturday evening to be with the patient and his family.
