"Hugs for Heroes" Program Recognizes Hospital Caregivers
A giving program from the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation, Hugs for Heroes, allows patients’ families and friends to donate to the hospital in honor of a special caregiver.
“We established the program as a way for families and friends to share their gratitude and recognize someone that made a difference in their child’s care,” says Suzanne Fontaine, director of events and marketing at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Their gift then goes to help the hospital continue to deliver exceptional care to kids.”
Healthcare heroes are presented with a certificate and an honorary lapel pin.
