Graduating Residents Make Plans for Future

On June 30, 2011, 34 pediatric residents at St. Louis Children’s Hospital will move into the next phase of their career – as community pediatricians, hospitalists, or continued subspecialty training. “St. Louis Children’s Hospital has been a training ground for hundreds of general pediatricians, pediatric specialists, clinician-investigators, division directors, chairs and deans for more than a century,” says Andrew J. White, MD, director of the pediatric residency program at Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. “We appreciate our resident’s hard work and hope that they’ve gained invaluable experience that will serve them well in the future.”
