Pectus Carinatum Bracing for Children - Hayley's Story

Thursday, November 3, 2011

A surgeon is considered successful not only for his or her ability to fix or improve a condition surgically, but for knowing when - and how - to fix that same problem without surgery. That's what Dr. Marty Keller with St. Louis Children's Hospital did for Hayley. He developed a brace to fix a unique deformity called pectus carinatum that prevented the need to have an invasive surgical procedure. It worked and Hayley is looking and feeling great!
