Understanding the kinds of injuries that are considered traumas will help parents better understand when their child needs to be taken to a Pediatric Trauma Center. Among the types of accidents commonly considered traumas are falls. Diana Kraus, RN, manager of the trauma center at St. Louis Children's Hospital, explains.
