The Division of Pediatric Ambulatory Medicine provides the administrative structure and support services for the ambulatory activities of the medical specialists in the:
- Department of Pediatrics
- Division of Pediatric Neurology
- Division of Pediatric Dermatology
- Division of Pediatric Gynecology
Multiple services are coordinated in the:
- Adolescent Center
- Diagnostic Center
- Epilepsy Center
- Cerebral Palsy Center
- Kidney, Lung, Liver, and Heart transplantation programs
The Division also oversees the operation of a pediatric multi-specialty office at Missouri Baptist Medical Center where many pediatric medical and surgical sub-specialists see ambulatory patients.
The Division coordinates support services for over 27,000 ambulatory visits annually to the office suites at St. Louis Children's Hospital and over 10,000 visits to the Missouri Baptist Medical Center office. Some patients also use the services of the Procedure Center and the Infusion and Dialysis Center of St. Louis Children's Hospital. Patients receive specialized diagnostic services through the:
- Washington University Division of Pediatric Radiology
- Heart Station
- Pulmonary Function Laboratory
- Sleep Laboratory
- EEG Laboratory
- Clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, microbiology and virology laboratories
Our Pharmacy
There is an outpatient pharmacy on the first floor of St. Louis Children's Hospital that is open from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. The outpatient pharmacy at Missouri Baptist Hospital is also open from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
