The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes at St. Louis Children's Hospital offers a full range of clinical services for pediatric patients with endocrine and growth disorders, diabetes, and bone and mineral metabolic disorders.

Most new patients can be diagnosed and treated on an outpatient basis. For children newly diagnosed with diabetes (more than 100 each year), a brief hospital stay is usually recommended to initiate diabetes therapy and to provide proper education for the patients and parents.
