Hearts in Harmony Event
Kids learned how their hearts work and other fun heart-healthy activities at Hearts in Harmony, a heart fair hosted by the St. Louis Children's and Washington University Heart Center. Kids listened to their heart beats using a stethoscope and got EKG printouts of their heart. They also made their own trailmix treat to take with them, met Snerdlihc, the St. Louis Children's Hospital mascot, and participated in other fun activities!
The highlight was when singer Erin Bode performed her new single, "The Space Between" that she wrote to the heartbeat of 10 year-old heart patient, Katelyn Jackson.
