|Learn more about KIDstruction Week and why your company should join others in the construction industry in supporting St. Louis Children's Hospital.|
KIDstruction Week is an opportunity for the St. Louis regional architectural/engineering/construction industry to join
together in support of the mission of St. Louis Children's Hospital: "to do what's what for kids."
Tradesworkers and employees from 82 local construction and design companies came together to raise $213,000 to support programs and services at St. Louis Children’s Hospital during the 2014 KIDstruction Week in August. Participating companies asked their employees to donate $1 or more for every hour they worked during that week. Of those 82 companies, 29 matched their employees’ gifts dollar for dollar or made a corporate donation of $10,000 or more. What a team!
What does it take to be a KIDstruction Week company?
- Participating companies offer their employees the opportunity to contribute $1 or more via payroll deduction for each hour they work during the "St. Louis Children’s Hospital KIDstruction Week."
- As a participating company, you can choose to match your employees’ gifts at a percentage of your choosing or make a lump sum donation to demonstrate your commitment to the cause.
- You also may choose to participate as a corporate sponsor and help underwrite KIDstruction Week expenses allowing more of the funds raised to go directly to our programs and services.
Since this program began in 2011 it has raised more than a half million dollars for St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Funds raised allow St. Louis Children’s Hospital to continue providing the very best pediatric care through cutting-edge medicine, research, innovative programs and community outreach.
KIDstruction Week proceeds will support important programs and services at St. Louis Children’s Hospital like the Pediatric Neurocritical Care Program, Healthy Kids Express, Family Resource Center, Sibling Play Room, Music and Art Therapy and more!
