On October 15, Yumi Turmelle, Washington University pediatric gastroenterologist and medical director of the Liver Transplant Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, was recognized as the Medical Honoree at the American Liver Foundation (ALF) Flavor’s of St. Louis event.
“We are thrilled to honor Dr. Turmelle for her dedication to the liver community,” said Jackie Dominguez, ALF Mid America Division Field Director. “She is an advocate for patients with liver disease, serves on the American Liver Foundation (ALF) Mid America Board of Directors, and was instrumental in launching the ALF Medical Advisory Committee this past year.”
