St. Louis Children’s Hospital has made a significant commitment to promote child health through advocacy and outreach programming beyond the hospital setting. Through programs such as smoking prevention and cessation classes and accident prevention education, advocacy seeks to enhance opportunities for children and families to make healthy choices and also calls public attention to issues affecting children’s health.

The hospital also has a formal community education program that offers educational classes to schools and community organizations throughout St. Louis.  Topics include parenting, health and wellness issues and more. View our calendar of events.
