PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program is designed to assist pediatric primary care providers to identify congenital heart disease (CHD) in infants before complications occur. Information will be presented on differentiating various types of heart murmurs, as well as current strategies for diagnosis and treatment of CHD.
Children are also at high risk for traumatic brain injury. Expert consensus of opinion will be explored on the best clinical approach to managing mild/moderate head injuries to improve children’s outcomes.
