Third-Party Fundraisers

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is fortunate to enjoy the generosity of so many people and organizations in the community. Frequently, people spend their own time and money to organize a fundraiser to benefit the hospital. These fundraisers run the gamut: lemonade stands, bake sales, car washes, golf tournaments, car shows, carnivals and more.

The 4th Annual Chip in for Children was held on August 7, at the Columbia Golf Course in Columbia, IL. Immediately following play, golfers enjoyed dinner, an awards ceremony, and silent auction. The tournament raised $8,830 for the Hailey Norman Endowment Fund to benefit Congenital Heart Disease at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Daniel’s Farm and Greenhouses in St. Peters, Mo raised $1,000 on October 10 at their 2nd Annual BBQ to benefit St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Guests enjoyed great food and family fun.

On September 18, at Quail Creek Golf Club, 98 golfers participated in the 8th Annual Jacob Urschler Golf Tournament. The benefit raised $7,500 for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital.

Madison’s Carnival of Hearts was held on September 19 in honor of Madison Marie. The day was filled with great food, games, and entertainment for all. The carnival raised over $2,500 for St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

The 3rd Annual Averi Budde Foundation Family Fun Day and Trail Ride was held at Blue Springs Ranch in Bourbon, Mo on October 3.The $16,000 raised will go towards a nursing scholarship for St. Louis Children’s Hospital; Camp Rhythm, a summer camp dedicated to children with heart problems; and Families in Need, an organization for parents of children with congenital heart defects.

The 5th Annual Puttin’ For Down Syndrome charity event was held on September 25 at Clinton Hill Golf Course in Swansea, Il. In addition to the tournament, a free golf clinic was offered for individuals with Down Syndrome. The tournament raised $3,750 for the Down Syndrome Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Music, Music, Music, the 7th annual KIDS Caring for Cancer Production was held on August 21 at the Katy Cavins Center. Guest enjoyed delicious treats and cool beverages from the soda shop while they laughed and sang along with the performance. This event raised $7,100 for the cancer research at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Steve Moore presented St. Louis Children’s Hospital with a check for $1,200 which was raised on August 19 at the 8th Annual PJ Moore Paintball Tournament, held at the Xtreme Paintball Park in Millstadt, Il. The proceeds will support the Olson Family Garden at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

A special toastto Tracy Czarnec, owner of Wild Flower in the Central West End, whodonated $500 in lieu of participating in the Dining 4 Kids event because the restaurant was closed that day. Cheers!

























Nicole and James Wiley hosted Danny's Dreams, a dinner and auction held April 18 at Amini's in Chesterfield. Emcee, Kasey Joyce entertained guests, who enjoyed cocktails and hors d' oeuvres by Villa Farotto and music by Erin Bode. The event raised $20,000 for the Daniel Scott Wiley Newborn Intensive Care Unit Endowment Fund at St. Louis Children's Hospital.





















Mama Campisi's Restaurante teamed up with Adesa St. Louis to host a very successful golf tournament at Union Hills Golf Course. The tournament raised over $5,000 to support St. Louis Children's Hospital.


















The Sons of AmVets of MO collected donations throughout the state of Missouri to raise $2,000 for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at St. Louis Children's Hospital.


















The 2nd Annual Brent Bergheger Chrysler Dodge Golf Classic was held June 26 at Orchards Golf Course. The tournament raised over $11,000 to help support Cancer Research at St. Louis Children's Hospital.


















The Hermann Rhythm and Brews Festival was held at Tin Mill Brewery in Hermann, MO. Blues music, barbecue, and 16 different breweries were on handat the Hofgarten across from the brewery to raise $1,000 for St. Louis Children's Hospital.

St. Louis Children's Hospital is affiliated with Washington University School of Medicine.
