The Young Friends Board was created in 2006 and consists of a diverse group of men and women passionate about having fun, meeting new people and helping a great cause…KIDS! Our mission is three tier- fundraising, service and advocacy.
We spearhead Young Friends efforts that, this year have raised more than $52,000. Currently, our proceeds benefit the Clown Docs and Camp Hope. We have two major fundraising events a year-Cocktails and Clowns and Kickball for a Cause.
There are many ways to become more involved with the Young Friends of St. Louis Children's Hospital. We are always looking for new people to support our mission.
Before joining the Board of Directors, we ask that you first serve on a committee. We have a Membership, Service, Kickball for a Cause and Cocktails and Clowns committee. Committees are forming now for 2011. If you are interested in learning more or becoming more involved, please contact the St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation at 314.286.1549 or email Abby at aedwards@bjc.org. Below is a general overview of committee member roles and responsibilities.
