Staff Nurse (RN) Opportunities with St. Louis Children’s Hospital

The Staff Nurse (RN) takes exceptional care of people by coordinating and leading the patient care team in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of the plan of care in accordance with the guidelines and standards of nursing care as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act.

We actively recruit for nurses in all patient care areas, to include but not limited to:

Pediatric Critical Care – Neonatal ICU
Pediatric Critical Care – Emergency Unit
Pediatric Critical Care – Pediatric ICU
Pediatric Critical Care – Cardiac ICU
Nurse Practitioner (Collaborative/Non-Collaborative)

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an Accredited Registered Nursing (RN) Program or Anticipated Graduate in 12 months or less
• Current RN Licensure or ability to obtain within 90 days of graduation or Temporary Permit in Missouri or Illinois (as determined by the location of the position)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact
• Basic Computer/Keyboarding Skills
• Must be able to lift/carry 30 lb independently
