Center for Foot Disorders

The Center for Foot Disorders at St. Louis Children’s Hospital provides care for congenital and acquired foot deformities. Many adult foot ailments have their origins in childhood, but if foot problems are detected early, treatment during childhood can minimize the impact of these ailments later in life. The range of disorders is wide and while most, fortunately, are not serious, some of the congenital abnormalities may require operative intervention and/or a prolonged period of treatment. The orthopedic specialists at The Center for Foot Disorders will determine the best course of treatment based on each child's needs. 

The Center collaborates with many other specialists in the hospital to provide the best comprehensive care to each child. Our patients benefit from:
