Let your health care provider know if your child has sudden, severe headaches. Headaches can warn of a more serious disorder, so it’s important to seek medical attention.

Community pediatricians can refer patients to a neurologist at the Headache Clinic. The service provides therapy and treatment for a wide variety of headaches including:

• tension headaches
• migraine headaches
• cluster headaches
• headaches resulting from blows to the head

Treatment and therapy options include medication, lifestyle modifications and relaxation techniques.

The clinic is staffed by a team of specialists, and physician referral is required for an appointment.
