Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course - PALS
St. Louis Children's Hospital presents the American Heart Association evidence-based PALS Course.
The PALS Course is designed to provide participants with the information and strategies to:
- Prevent injury and death in infants and children
- Recognize and initiate treatment for infants and children with impending respiratory failure and shock and cardiopulmonary arrest
- Support families and providers in coping with emergencies and death

- Family Practice Physicians
- Advanced Practice Nurses
- Emergency Physicians
- Respiratory Therapists
It is also suggested for practitioners who do not treat seriously ill or injured children on a regular basis. PALS certification is valid for a period of two years.

Two-Day PROVIDER COURSE:
Thur, Fri - May 30-31 - registration for this class is closed
Thur, Fri - Aug 1-2 - registration for this class is closed
Registration fee less $50 service charge is refundable if cancellation is received 4 weeks prior to the course.
Registration closes 3 weeks prior to the course date to allow adequate time to review study material.
