When parents bring a child to St. Louis Children's Hospital, their child receives care and attention from a staff completely focused on kids. In fact, a child's-eye view and family focus shape our entire approach to health care. Whether your child has a long or short stay with us, we hope to make your time here as pleasant as possible.
Please have the following with you for every visit, including your first visit:
- Insurance Card (Private, Medicare or Medicaid)
- Pharmacy Card, if separate from Insurance Card
In addition, the patient's parent/guardian should bring a valid Government-issued Picture Identification (i.e. Driver's License, Passport, etc.).
Be prepared to show this information when visiting:
- Inpatient or Outpatient visit
- Hospital or emergency room
- Clinical laboratory
- A Doctor's office
- Pharmacy
