Tana Clardy, MS, LPC

Behavioral Health Manager

Tana has a wealth of clinical and case management experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in diverse settings, such as the Family Court, hospitals, school, residential, in-home, and in-office. Given this extensive experience, she has provided individual, family, group therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to treat depression, traumatic stress, grief, self-esteem issues, social skills, and school issues. Tana has been in the social service field for 18 years and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2011. In 2020, Tana joined the Healthy Kids, Healthy Minds program as a Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist. In November 2022, she became the Clinical Community Health Supervisor, and in July 2025, she moved into the role of Behavioral Health Manager for the CHAO department. Tana earned an undergraduate degree in psychology/sociology from Maryville University and graduate degree in counseling from Missouri State University.

 

Rachel Cramsey, LCSW

Clinical Community Health Supervisor

Rachel became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2015. In her social work career, Rachel has worked inpatient at Barnes Jewish Hospital, serving patients on various services. Rachel transitioned to the nonprofit sector for several years, working with women and families impacted by addiction and the criminal justice system.  In that time, Rachel was a program manager and later Executive Director of the agency. In 2019, Rachel returned to BJC and began working in the CHAO Department, first as the social worker with Raising St. Louis, providing therapy services to parents, and then as a behavioral health therapist with Healthy Kids Healthy Minds, providing therapy to students in grades preschool-8th.  Outside of work, Rachel provides clinical supervision to LMSW practitioners working toward their clinical licensure.  In October 2025, Rachel moved into the role of Clinical Community Health Supervisor with Healthy Kids and is now supporting the therapists on both the embedded and virtual behavioral health teams. 

 

Emily Edgell, LCSW

Dr. Emily Edgell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses an integrative approach to therapy, grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based modalities. She has worked in the CHAO department for eight years and previously facilitated the Teen Outreach Program and the Head to Toe family wellness program. With over 25 years of experience, Emily has served in diverse settings, including Head Start, court-based family violence programs, substance abuse treatment, refugee's services, outdoor education, and school-based mental health. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, a post-master’s certificate from the Brown School at Washington University, and a doctorate in social work from Tulane University.

Emily believes in the importance of relationships for wellness and appreciates the opportunity to support young people in becoming fully themselves while staying healthy and safe. She is the mother of 3 people taller than her and a walker, reader, crafter, and baker.

 

Emily Bruns, LPC, M.Ed

Emily Bruns is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been with SLCH since 2022. She holds a B.S in Economics from Missouri S&T, and earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Emily has worked in community mental health, private practice, and a local nonprofit. Her clinical experience includes providing therapy services for individuals experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, substance use disorder, depression, ADHD, and ODD. Bruns has provided counseling for adults, couples, teens, and children. In her free time, she enjoys competing in triathlons, playing volleyball, and baking.

 

Jennifer Garland, LCSW

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing since 2007. Her early career included four years as a dedicated play therapist, helping children and families navigate emotional and developmental challenges through therapeutic play. For the next 14 years, she served in a leadership role overseeing a comprehensive pregnancy support program and supervising staff conducting foster and adoptive home studies to ensure safe, nurturing placements for children and families.

In July 2023, Jennifer joined the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Virtual Care Program, where she provides accessible, trauma-informed, and family-centered clinical support. With nearly two decades of experience across child welfare, clinical practice, and family systems, she brings a compassionate, steady, and holistic approach to her work with children, caregivers, and communities. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoys watching football and sewing projects.  

 

 

Jaclyn Moore, LCSW

Jaclyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined St. Louis Children's Hospital in 2023. She received her Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Columbia College of Missouri in 2018 and went on to receive her Master's in Social Work from Capella University in 2022. Jaclyn has 4+ years of experience working in different therapy settings from private practice to EAP. Prior to being a therapist, she worked within the foster care system in various positions for 10+ years. Jaclyn’s approach with therapy is to give her clients the space to share their experiences and work together to find solutions to their problems, as if she is holding the flashlight to whichever direction they would like to go. In her free time, she enjoys watching reality TV, gardening, and spending time with her family.

 

Marquita Sanders, LPC

Marquita Sanders is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over five years of experience in community behavioral health. She specializes in working with children from preschool age through young adulthood, providing eclectic and purposeful therapeutic interventions. Marquita is passionate about empowering clients and families through emotional health education, fostering healthy communication, and teaching effective coping strategies. As a dedicated member of CHAO and the virtual behavioral health team for the past two years, she continues to deliver meaningful and rewarding care that reflects her commitment to mental wellness. 

 

Veronica Higgins

 

Veronica is a dedicated behavioral health therapist passionate about helping children and adolescents feel seen, supported, and empowered. She specializes in providing a safe and nurturing space for emotional growth through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other individualized, evidence-based approaches. Veronica supports students navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges, tailoring interventions to meet each child’s unique needs. Before joining Healthy Kids Healthy Minds, Veronica worked within the Missouri Division of Behavioral Health, where she gained extensive experience in evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and mental health system support. 

Outside of work, Veronica enjoys reading, shopping, and cruising to different countries—experiences that inspire her belief in curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning.

 

Emma Schiller, LMSW

Emma joined the BJC family in October of 2023. Through the Healthy Kids, Healthy Minds program, she offers free behavioral health therapy to 6th-12th grade students attending Grand Center Arts Academy. Emma earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, and her Master’s in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Columbia University - New York. She is currently working towards independent clinical licensure (LCSW).

Emma specializes in working with teens navigating suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and emotion dysregulation. Her work is grounded in the tenets of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), balancing acceptance and change with a touch of irreverence (and some chaotic good fun). Emma strives to create a space where young people feel understood, empowered, and equipped with practical skills they can use every day to build a life not only worth living, but worth celebrating.

 

Natalie Williams MSW, LMSW


Natalie has been with the Healthy Kids Healthy Minds program since 2024. She currently serves as an embedded Behavioral Health Therapist for South City Academy working with children and adolescents ages 4 – 14 years old. She graduated with her Master’s in Social Work from University of Missouri Saint Louis and is a licensed social worker. She is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families. Williams’ areas of interest include depression/anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, self-esteem, and navigating social relationships. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and playing outside with her two sons.


 

Asia Robinson, LPC

Asia is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She attended Fontbonne University here in Saint Louis, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2020. Asia later moved to San Antonio, Texas, where she attended St. Mary’s University and received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022. Her primary theoretical orientation is Relational-Cultural Therapy; she also utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy.  Asia specializes in helping clients unpack and manage anxiety, grief, PTSD, depression, and identity-related stressors, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Her approach blends deep listening, practical tools, and cultural understanding to support healing, clarity, and lasting change. 

 

Danielle Thelen

Danielle joined the Healthy Kids, Healthy Minds in May of 2025 as part of the Embedded Behavioral Therapy team. She is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, where she also earned a certificate in Social Justice and Multicultural Counseling. In addition to her work with students at Hoech and Ritenour Middle Schools,  Danielle also works in private practice, seeing clients of all ages as she works towards completing her professional licensure requirements. She works with those experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, suicidality, as well as those struggling with life transitions and self-esteem/identity. When not at work, you can find Danielle keeping up with reality television, crafting, watching a variety of sports, and cuddling with her cat and two dogs.

 

Olivia Walter, LCSW

Olivia is a Behavioral Health Therapist with the Healthy Kids, Healthy Minds Program. I completed graduate studies in social work at Saint Louis University. I am a licensed clinical social worker currently working at Saint Louis Language Immersion School where I provide trauma-responsive therapy to students. I love to see kids learn through play and build healthy and healing relationships with others. 

 

Amanda Donovan, LPC

Amanda has been working in the mental health field for 12 years. She graduated from The University of Missouri with a BA in Psychology and then went on to receive her MA in professional counseling from Lindenwood University. She's worked in a variety of mental health settings from an intensive outpatient clinic focusing on adolescent substance abuse, a level 4 school setting, and case management coaching and Employee Assistance Program consulting on the insurance side. Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been working as a licensed clinician for 10 years. She is very passionate about working in the mental health field and has a great deal of training and background working with client's who have experienced trauma.
