Letter from the Co-Chairs
Since 1879, philanthropy has shaped St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Established by a compassionate group of St. Louis women who were determined to do what’s right for kids, the hospital has held fast to this mission for nearly 150 years.
Over the course of our history, each new era has presented unique opportunities and urgent needs. Each time, philanthropists in St. Louis and beyond have responded with support and generosity. Today, the opportunities and needs facing children and families are unprecedented in their size and scope. Those of us who care deeply about children have before us an incredible opportunity – a chance to set the pace for this era of enormous medial progress, to deliver world-class care throughout our community and care for the whole child for the whole journey.
