Camp Crescent offers a place where children who have sickle cell disease can meet other campers, join in many fun activities, and feel more confident about living with sickle cell disease.
Our Camp Crescent Mission is to provide each camper a comfortable environment to enjoy activities with other campers who share the same chronic illness, by doing so, it will enhance:
- Self-esteem
- Self-worth
- Develop social skills
Medical professionals are present the entire day to meet the special needs of campers who are being treated for sickle cell disease.
Listen to the song "Sickle Cell Warriors" created by the 2015 Camp Crescent campers.
