St. Louis Children’s Hospital is located in the central West End neighborhood of St. Louis, in between Forest Park and midtown with two ambulatory Children’s Specialty Care Centers located in west and south St. Louis County. Fellows will primarily be located at St. Louis Children’s, with opportunities to work and see patients at the ambulatory sites. The Department of Psychology is comprised of several licensed clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists, all of whom hold faculty appointments at WashU Medicine.

St. Louis Children’s has 455 licensed beds, including a pediatric intensive care unit, a Level IV newborn intensive care unit, and a pediatric bone marrow transplant unit. St. Louis Children’s has many points of distinction and is consistently ranked the top children’s hospital in the St. Louis region and among the top children’s hospitals nationwide. For 2025-2026, U.S. News & World Report named St. Louis Children’s Hospital the No. 1 children’s hospital in Missouri, and it was ranked nationally in all 11 pediatric subspecialty areas.
