St. Louis Children’s Hospital is accepting registrations for the fall session of the Head to Toe weight management program. Kids ages 8 – 17 who are at risk for obesity and are interested in weight management, fitness and healthier living are encouraged to join the Head to Toe Program. Beginning in early September, families will meet weekly for 10 weeks to learn more about how to lead healthier lives by eating right and exercising regularly.
“The program is led by an exercise physiologist and a registered dietitian from Children’s Hospital,” says Tammy Staten, program supervisor. “We combine hands on fitness and nutrition activities in a fun and interactive environment.”
Head to Toe is offered at three locations: The Pointe Fitness Center in Ballwin, the Monsanto YMCA in St. Louis City and the Clayton Recreation Center. A $50 registration fee covers all program costs.
The Head to Toe Program is made possible by generous donations to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation.
