Eligibility for fellowship

Successful applicants must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical, counseling, or school psychology from an APA-accredited program prior to the start of the fellowship training year. Completion of a doctoral internship meeting APPIC standards (APA- or CPA-accredited preferred) is also required. Successful applications also have previous training and experience in pediatric psychology or child psychology.

Application process

Interested applicants can submit their application through the APPIC Psychology Postdoctoral Application Centralized Application Service (APPA CAS).

Application materials include:

  • A cover letter detailing training and professional interests
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Three letters of recommendation (preferably one being written from a direct internship supervisor)

Our application deadline is typically mid December, with interviews in mid to late January. Applications will be reviewed, and interviews will be offered on a rolling basis. Please look at the APPIC Universal Postdoctoral Directory or APPA CAS for specific deadline information.
