The Coffee and Gift Shop is open from 7 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and is located on the 1st floor of St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Offerings include a variety of balloons, Children's Hospital apparel, snacks, candy, and small gift items. The gift shop also features tasty breakfast pastries, fresh grab-and-go food items, and proudly serves Starbucks beverages.
Proceeds from the gift shop benefit the Friends Board of St. Louis Children's Hospital, a voluntary organization that raises funds and awareness for various programs and services that benefit Children’s Hospital patients.
Joni's Smile Station
Inspired by Joni Karandjeff—beloved hospital volunteer and former chair of the Friends Board of St. Louis Children’s Hospital—Joni’s Smile Station is a heartfelt extension of our gift shop. Joni dedicated more than 11,000 volunteer hours to Children’s Hospital, spreading joy to everyone she encountered.
To honor her incredible legacy, the Friends Board will open Joni’s Smile Station once a month and offer a curated selection of gifts and toys designed to brighten anyone’s day. Whether you’re looking for a cheerful surprise or a thoughtful pick-me-up, stop by and help continue Joni’s tradition of bringing smiles to our hospital community.
