Pediatric ER

The St. Louis Children’s Hospital at Northwest HealthCare emergency room (ER) is now staffed 24-7 by Washington University pediatricians and nurses whose entire focus is caring for children with a variety of illnesses and injuries.

Common pediatric conditions treated at Northwest Healthcare’s pediatric emergency unit include:

  • Minor injuries
  • Asthma and respiratory illnesses
  • Dehydration
  • Broken bones and fractures
  • Cuts, scrapes and lacerations
  • Acute belly pain
  • Ear aches
  • Flu
  • Vomiting

In cases where more specialized care is required, the staff will quickly arrange for transport to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Located at the Graham Medical Center inside Medical Office Building 2, Children’s Therapy at Northwest HealthCare is a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the needs of pediatric patients in north St. Louis county. Our skilled pediatric therapists provide outpatient treatment for sports injuries, post-surgical care, developmental differences, communication disorders, sensory regulation and fine motor deficits, feeding disorders and neurological impairments.
