GregGreg Primo -  Since age 9, Greg has divided his time between two passions: baseball and music. His pitching progressed to the point that coaches put him on the mound in games against major opponents last year, when he was a freshman at Vianney. During a routine game he was hit with a batted baseball.  He suffered a fractured skull and was sent to Children's Hospital. With swelling inside his skull, doctors drilled a hole in his skull to insert probes that were used to measure the oxygen levels and the pressure in the brain. He was placed in a medically induced coma the day after the accident but within days started showing signs of waking up and eventually began breathing on his own.

Greg is back to playing music, his other passion, and recently held a come-back concert at Blueberry Hill and donated proceeds to the Neurocritical Care Program at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

"This is a celebration," said Dr. Jose Pineda, who treated Primo in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Children's Hospital. "We set the bar very high for Greg, and he achieved his goal."
