Pediatric leg brace

The Center for Foot Disorders at St. Louis Children’s Hospital provides care for all forms of foot deformities — whether a child is born with one (congenital) or develops one later.

When clinicians are able to detect — and treat — foot problems early, we can often minimize the effects they have later in life.

While most foot disorders are not serious, some may require surgery and/or a prolonged period of treatment. The good news: many foot disorders — including clubfoot and vertical talus — can be successfully corrected using precise processes.

Our team will recommend the best course of treatment based on your child's specific needs.

Why Choose the Center for Foot Disorders?

We treat the full range of foot disorders and deformities, including talus coalition and arch problems such as flatfeet or cavus foot. Our team has pioneered therapies for treating clubfoot and vertical talus that enable more children to completely overcome their foot deformity.
