Application requirements

  • Completion of all doctoral degree requirements from an APA-accredited program by the start of the fellowship training year
  • Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical, counseling, or school psychology
  • APA-accredited psychology pre-doctoral internship
    • Applicants will be considered from a non-accredited internship if it meets APPIC standards
  • Previous training/experience in pediatric psychology and/or child psychology

Application procedure

Our application deadline is typically during the last week of December or the first week of January.  Please visit the APPIC website or contact the training director for this year’s application deadline.  On-site interviews are preferred and typically take place in January and February.  Interested applicants can submit their application through the APPA CAS or can electronically submit a cover letter detailing training and professional interests, CV, three letters of reference (preferably one being written from your current internship director), and two sample clinical reports (i.e., one assessment report, one C/L or diagnostic report) via email to:
