Parents have four different appointment options when they come to Safety Stop
Car Seat Safety
Parents bring their child, vehicle and car seat to Safety Stop and a certified child passenger safety technician will inspect the seat, check it for a correct fit to the child and show them how to install it properly.
Kids can bring their own helmet to Safety Stop where a trained helmet safety expert will check it for proper fit. Parents and their children will learn how to adjust the helmet themselves so they can continue this important safety practice at home.
We will talk about how to make your home a safer place for your children. This service is perfect for parents with children beginning to crawl. All participants receive a FREE home safety starter kit! Before your appointment, use this Home Safety Survey to understand the unique childproofiing needs in your home.
Learn about best safe sleep practices for your child from birth to one year. Information includes when to swaddle and how to correctly swaddle your baby, crib safety, and the importance of tummy time when baby is awake.
Do you have a safety routine to remind you to check the back seat of your car? A simple change in your normal schedule can be enough to make you forget you’re still carrying precious cargo when you get out of your vehicle. We offer easy tips and a free tool to remind you never to leave your child alone in the vehicle – not even for a minute.
